2 months

So I know it's been awhile since we posted pictures, but our camera was either lost/stolen at Cedar Point in July and we just replaced it a couple days ago.  Anyway, the point of this post is the BABY.  Carson is now 2 months old.  I just thought I'd share some stats and jot down some memories of this sweet boy.

*Carson now weighs 11lbs. 6oz. and is 24 inches long (up almost 4lbs. and 2 1/2 inches).

*Obviously a very good and efficient nurser.  This past week he learned to take a pumped bottle of  breastmilk and loved it.  The other kids really enjoy the chance to feed him.

*Has started smiling. The thing that gets the most smiles is the fish mobile on his swing.  He can watch and smile at those for hours. He also moves his whole head (not just his eyes) when he watches them.

*Hair is beginning to turn blonde from the front toward the back and so it temporarily looks as though he has  receding hairline.

*The first baby I've had who truly uses the pacifier just to lull himself to sleep and then promptly spits it out.

*Already had to adjust the straps in the carseat.

*Sleeps through the night.

*No patience when he's hungry.

*Falls asleep the quickest and deepest when Matt holds him.

*Is a good sport tagging along everywhere.

*Happiest at home.

*Is now wearing 3-6 month size sleepers.  Is happiest wearing sleepers...not too cold, not too hot, gives the feeling of being somewhat swaddled... and big plus - EASY for mom.

*Makes our family feel complete.
